About Us
This site is a hobby centered around my passion of creativity and helping others. I sincerely hope you find the site useful and informative.
Thanks for visiting or joining this new website created in 2010. You are the pioneers and adventurers who have literally begun the journey for RecordAtHome.info. This is a new site and is showing some real promise with the caliber of artist featured, articles written or repeated here and members. I hope you will always let me know if there's anything you'd like to see on the site that you are not seeing. I've always run a collaborative ship, and this site is no different.
TRAINING VIDEOS - You've let me know loud and clear that you'd like to see more training or tutorial videos as opposed to articles and I'm cool with that, because I feel the same way. I've begun to hunt down You Tube videos that I can implement on the site. I hope that what I've found so far and what I'll find in the future is helpful, but if you come across something good and want to see it on the site, please feel free. OR BETTER YET, create a training or tutorial video of your own to submit.
TING VIDEOS FOR THE SITE: The videos should be educational in nature and not self promoting. Let your promotion be in the quality of content and the bio that I'll post with the video along with a link or two of your choice to direct people to your website or sales pages.
PRODUCING AND MARKETING - Again, I hear you loud and clear and these two areas will be a focus of mine in the days to come. You'll see a lot more content going up to cover these topics.
ARTIST OF THE MONTH - Will become artist of the week now... there's just too many great artist I want to feature. Now, you should always be driving traffic to your widget on RAH, but when I announce you becoming artist of the week you should all-out blitz email everyone you know and tell them to hit the site and play your widget. Widget hits and plays on sites that are NOT ReverbNation.com will count heavily in your band equity (as I'm sure you know) and will rise you in the national and global charts faster.
Hint: pop in and play widgets as often as you can. If you're at work, hit the talent pool, play a widget and mute the player immediately if you have to. Just let the widget play on and rack up points
ARTICLES - Please feel free to submit articles to the site. I'll review them and use them and if I feel they are appropriate, I'll post them on the site along with your short bio and link to your website or url of your choice.
Submitted articles should be between 250 and 1000 words with a bio of less than 75 words (including the url link) and can be submitted on the contact page of the site.
FEATURED ARTICLES will go on the home page for a period of time fitting the site's traffic and will then reside only in the appropriate section of the site.
Thanks to all and all the best to you,
Alan Currens
Administrator and Web Master
